Q: How do you learn to do those crazy tricks?

A: The stunts we do are all traditional sideshow stunts that have been performed for generations. We learned them for the same reason one climbs a mountain: because we could.

Q: Do those stunts hurt?

A: Some of our stunts (particularly the bed of nails) actually do hurt like the dickens, but we suck it up and take it because we're professionals.

Q: Can I hire the Pyrate Sisters for a "private" show where I can "interview" and "photograph" you and do pervy things to your dainty feet?

A: No way, Jose.

The Pyrate Sisters (simply pronounced "pirate") is an all-girl sideshow featuring glass eating, glass walking, straightjacket striptease, escapism, human blockhead, burlesque and a "sparkly, red, girl-shaped bed of nails."   The show also features audience-participation contests, including one in which audience members compete to tell the best lie, and one in which the Sisters determine who among the audience can display the most bizarre talent. The Pyrate Sisters have performed at Pete's Candy Store, The Museum of Sex and the Pyramid Club. There will be free chocolate doubloons for all.
